The State of Berkshire Fall

After a night and a day of substantial rain, the Housy is up, the sun is out, and the air calm, so we went for a walk along Mill Pond and the other way across Route 7 and the covered bridge to see what we could see. At the bridge we passed a van with Ontario plates and a family speaking German examining the famous wooden bridge. The high water and empty fields provoked no photography, so we retraced our steps to the cottage and over to the pond.
Along the way this fence and young beech tree caught our eye, as did the reflected shore and sky further along the pond.
