Hawks fly, people fly (in jets), and ladybugs fly (that little orange dot in front of the hawk), at very different altitudes.Several pairs of red-tailed hawks lifted off our trees as yesterday we pulled into the yard, casting their shadows across the lawn as they circled higher and higher, the better to glide on north winds south for the coming winter.
