A late post of one of yesterday's photos showing the spread of color seen in a single maple leaf. Overnight one inch of rain fell in just a few hours, washing much of the more colorful leaves out of the trees and onto lawns. A drive through recently dark woods now seems almost bright as leaves both above and on the ground seem to glow all on their own.
