Backyard Color

As noted in several posts below, autumn color this year has been spectacular, and continues. This morning the view from our deck across our backyard may be at its seasonal peak with the sugarbush or hard maple on the left showing large color variation and the acer rubrum or soft maples to the right showing their eponymous bright reds.
Mild, overcast mornings bring out some of the best color, but we cannot predict how much longer autumn's show will run.
