Boat-Tailed Grackle

In late November, the feeder begins to attract sundry birds, not all of which will stay much longer, once the cold persists and snow begins to blanket the lawn. The grackle is one of those opportunistic and gregarious birds soon to be elsewhere somewhat south of here. Still, a low sun and swinging feeder provided one photo through the slide-by deck doors.
