Frosty Pine and Winterberry

Overnight temps fell to 17F here, and the relative humidity rose to just shy of ground fog, frosting every twig and pine needle and blade of grass not covered by yesterday's snow.
Local gardens increasingly include winterberry, both a small, bright-red berried native holly and this larger berry variety or ilex, which in this photo looks pink under the snow.
