Storm Preparations

MLH kicked off storm preps early today by filling the bird feeder an hour or so before the storm arrived. After the first inch of snowfall, business picked up sharply at the feeder with many goldfinch squabbling over who's next on a peg, and Mr. and Ms. Cardinal putting in frequent appearances to stoke up on food BTUs.
Mr. White-throat soon followed suit, defending his place at table with scowling yellow eyebrows whenever another of his kind presumed he might make room for a friend.
