A large winter storm will begin here overnight, depositing almost every form of precipitation and up to four inches of snow by Monday night. Sensible to such things, birds crowded our feeder as it swung in gusts up to 35 miles an hour as the temperature dropped below 20F, headed for perhaps 11F tomorrow morning. Mr. Junco was among those preparing for the storm.
