Berkshire Ski Season Began Today

All but the smaller Berkshire ski areas opened today, an unusually early opening made possible by Berkshire Snow (see post below). With several flurries and squalls, and a solid week of very cold nights, this area made up to 30 inches of snow on 11 trails and opened four of its six lifts for opening day, much to the delight of these young hot-dogging boarders showing off their form on the rail.
