The remnants of Ida have clouded our days for much of this week, and overnight and today have brought showers mixed with downpours. Still, the overcast filters the light, at times adding reds or greens to scenes, such as this one of a nearby swamp, where the tree lichen seem to glow with an erie green cast under low clouds (click to enlarge).
