By definition, winter comes after fall. However, this morning the thermometer showed 20F outside the kitchen window, a taste of winter despite a rising sun. On the way to breakfast, we found skim ice and a pair of mallards looking for their breakfast on Harman Marsh as they swam around the ice.Viewing our favorite webcams around the world, we see that skiing has started in southern Austria.
