Yesterday was one of the Berkshire's best for November, with clear sky, light breezes, and 62F at 2 pm, so we invited family for a walk up the Sheffield Lime Kiln Sanctuary trails where we were treated to a great view of the Taconic Range to the north (see earlier post). As we returned to our car, the near meadow held two white-tail deer, who briefly studied us before flashing their tails as they leaped back into the brush (click to enlarge).
