After nights of 20F, November turned sultry, teasing protected forsythia buds into thinking that winter quickly had passed. Amidst the tenacity of colorful but dead leaves, a few days of sun and warm nights forced these nearby buds into bloom behind their sheltering fence.Note that the adventurers are few, and more cautious buds remain in waiting, should they survive winter's long cold.
