Chipping Sparrow -- Update

In our previous post we commented on two chipping sparrow nests in separate arborvitae trees against the cottage. One had three eggs and the back one had four. Yesterday, the four eggs became four, gaping chicks, still blind but hungry. Their mom scolded us as we took their picture, but quickly resumed ferrying insects into yellow-lined red throats once we retreated.
